Interleague Standing Rules
******These rules will be used for all interleague games******
These standing rules will supersede individual league's standing rules, with the
exception of *field prep. Rules in 2009 Softball Official Regulations and
Playing Rules book must be followed in all aspects.
ALL DIVISIONS
1.
10 run mercy rule is in effect. If both teams desire to continue playing
no score will be kept beyond the mercy point.
PITCHING STATS WILL COUNT. Final score is what
the score is at the time of the mercy.
No new inning after 1 hr.
45 minutes with no new batter after 2 hrs. From scheduled start time,
this applies to Minor Softball
Major Softball and Senior Softball. any game Played with a game following Will
have no new batter after 2 Hours 10 Min.
The Last Game of the day may play out to the last inning. (Major & Sr Only) with
no new batter after 9:50pm game ends at 10:00pm and batter has finished their
time at bat (this is due to lighting Requirements by city ordinances.)
if the game starts earlier in the day with no game behind it. Finish the game

Minors will be a completed a game regardless of innings played (Reg. VII – h).
Ø
Final score is what the score is at the time of last completed
inning in all divisions (4.11 – d).
Ø
Tied games will be tied games and only played out at a later date if it affects
the standings to determine the interleague champion.
2.
Home team will supply game balls that meets LL specifications – Softball
will use Safety Yellow Balls for interleague play must say RS (Regular Season)
OR RST (Regular Season Tournament) (1.09),

Home team keeps the official score.
Score Keeper will be located in the score booth or if booth is not available
will sit behind the backstop away from the parents. (If unable to sit behind
back stop scorekeeper will sit away from stands and parents.
4.
Field prep – each league will setup and take down their field. (if you as
visiting team show up and the opposing team needs help setting the field please
help them or at least ask.
5.
9 defensive players on the field and substitutions must be given to the plate
umpire in all divisions - no batting substitution in minors (3.06).
6.
All scores must be emailed or submitted on website to me
no later than Sunday of the week played. I Recommend
the winning team be the one to submit scores At least one team needs to submit
the score for the game. If neither team submits scores games will reflect a zero
score for both and will remain that way. It's not my job to track down

Preferred Method is through the website. Please email me for access to score

7.
Champion will be determined by overall record and ties will be determined by
head to head and then runs ratio (runs given up).
8.
Pool Players: - If you have less than 9 players you may
use players to fill your roster to 9 players. If you need a pool player you must
go to your player agent and ask them to send you one from the list they have
prepared. If you use a pool player and they show up you must play them. however
if your regular player/s show up they must meet there regular season minimum .
pool player min is 9 defensive outs and 1 at bat. (DO NOT ABUSE THIS!)
